Inside Human Body

The Importance of Your Brain

Brain
The brain is one of the most essential parts of the human body. The brain is what sends impulses to the other parts of your body, and this allows them to function. The nerve impulses have been measured at about 170 miles per hour. This means that these impulses travel as fast as a speeding car. This is why you are able to react to things that are in your environment quickly. The nerve impulses have to travel from your brain and back again. Since these impulses travel at such a high speed, this is why you are able to feel pain as soon as you hurt yourself.

The Importance of Your Spinal Cord

Spinal Cord
The spinal cord is an important part of the human body. If you did not have a spinal cord, you would not be able to do anything. Your brain helps your body to survive by sending nerve impulses to various areas of your body. The brain uses the spinal cord kind of like a highway in order to quickly get the impulses to the areas of the body that they need to be in. Without a spinal cord, the nerve impulses would not get to their destination, and you would not be able to survive. The brain is responsible for important functions of your body such as your heart beating.

The Importance of Your Liver

Liver
Most people do not take the time to think about it, but the liver     is an essential part of the human body. There are hundreds of different functions that the liver does that help you to stay alive. The liver is one of the largest organs in the human body, and it is responsible for a number of different things. Of course, you have to make sure that you do what you can in order to keep your liver in good condition. One of the best things that you can do for your liver is to not drink much alcohol. When you drink alcoholic beverages, the liver has to work extra hard in order to remove all of the toxins from your body.

You Do Not Need an Appendix

Appendix
There are many times when people will have to have their appendix removed from their body. If you find that you are having problems with your appendix, it is important that you have it taken care of right away. This is because it is possible for your appendix to rupture, and this causes toxins to spill out into your body. If you do not have this condition taken care of by a doctor, you could end up dying from such medical issues as appendicitis. You will not have to worry about your body being able to function without your appendix. This is because humans no longer need this organ because of evolution.

The Importance of Your Lungs

Lungs
There are many people that do not realize how important it is for you to take proper care of your lungs. There are a number of different functions that your lungs do in order to keep your body alive. Most all of these functions involve getting oxygen into your body. In order to live, it is important that you have proper lung function. If you want to take care of your lungs, then you should not smoke because this causes a great amount of damage to them. You should also try to get a good amount of exercise each day. Aerobic exercises will help to make your lungs stronger, and in turn, they will function better.

The Functions of Your Gallbladder

Gallbladder
You may have heard about many people that end up having to have their gallbladder removed from their body, but you may wonder how the body can function without it. There are only a couple of different functions that the gallbladder does in the body. First, this organ helps the human body to be able to digest fat. This means that if you have your gallbladder removed, then it would be a good idea for you to make sure that you eat meals that are low in fat. This is because you will no longer have your gallbladder to assist you in digesting the fat that is in many of the foods that people typically eat.

The Importance of Your Heart

Heart
People are unable to live without a heart. This is because the heart is one of the most important organs in the body. The heart is responsible for pumping blood around to the various parts of the body, and ensuring that it is oxygenated. If there is not any oxygen in your blood, then you will be unable to live. The human heart is made up of four chambers, and each of these chambers has its own job to do. As the blood moves in and out of each chamber is becomes oxygenated, and it is then pumped throughout the body.

The Human Body is Interesting

Human Body
The human body is very interesting because there are many things that happen with it that you may not even know about. For example, people lose between 60 and 100 strands of hair each day. This is not enough for you to be able to see any changes in the amount of hair that you have, so you may not notice this. There are a number of different factors that will cause you to shed more or less hair on any given day. One of the factors is the season, and this is kind of like when mammals tend to lose more hair during the warmer months.

You Can Survive with One Kidney

Kidney
You would be able to survive with only one kidney. Actually, there are many organs in the human body that you would be able to either survive without, or only have a portion of what you do have. Of course, you need at least one kidney in order for your body to be able to function fairly normally. If you were to not have any of the organs that are not necessary, you would still be able to live. Keep in mind that this does not mean that you would feel healthy and be able to do many of the things that you can currently do. However, you will still be alive.

In order for you to be able to learn about all of the different parts of the human body and their functions, then it may be a good idea for you to take an anatomy class. By doing this, you can be sure that you will remember the information that has been presented to you.
